Six Simple and Inexpensive Ways to Freshen Up Your Style - TipZZ for BoyZZZ
Don't let your limited budget limit your style. There a quite are few things you can do to keep your look fresh even when you need to be wise with your wardrobe dollars. It just takes a little effort and perhaps perusing the sale racks. Whether you incorporate one or all, here are six simple and inexpensive ways to freshen up your style.
1. Wear more color
I’ve mentioned this in other articles--a great way to liven up your look is to incorporate more color into your wardrobe. Perhaps this is just a matter of wearing a brightly colored t-shirt under a v-neck sweater, or sporting a new shirt or sweater. Adding color will liven up otherwise dull neutral tones. But the most important thing is to wear color near your face since that is where it will have the most impact and keep you from looking washed out.
Note: Whether you are on a budget or not, shopping sales is just a smart thing to do. If you want to pick up a new shirt, sweater etc., you don't have to wait long for any number of retailers to have a sale. Banana Republic has great sales throughout the year and Macy's is always having one of those all day sales. Just keep your eyes peeled.
2. Seek Out a New Pair of Glasses/Sunglasses
I have worn glasses since I was 2 years old. This is one area where I allow myself to spend a little money in order to get the best looking glasses I can find. After all, it’s my face! Glasses are a great way to express yourself too. The interesting thing about glasses is that you could simply be wearing jeans and a t-shirt, but with the right glasses you suddenly look fashion savvy. Like me, you may want to have a couple of pair--one pair that is bold and one that is more subdued. This way you can match your glasses with your mood or outfit.
Note: If you don’t wear glasses, then make it sunglasses. Cool shades are always a good thing and we all know how they are one of the ultimate fashion accessories.
3. Treat Yourself to One or Two Super Pieces
If you can possibly afford it, I believe in buying one or two great pieces that will really keep you looking stylish. This may be a cool sport coat, a leather jacket or an awesome pair of jeans that really show off your assets. What ever it is, make sure it’s something that you know you will wear often and is flattering. I just bought a moleskin sport coat that was a bit expensive, but it looks great and I know I will get a lot of use out of it.
4. Sport a Snappy Belt
I also just bought a really cool belt with a big buckle that I know will be a show stopper. You may have noticed that recently elaborate belts with interesting buckles have become quite the fashion statement. And they can be quite inexpensive as well.
5. Avoid Tattered Looking Shoes
A tattered pair of shoes is always a turn off. I don’t care if you wear dress shoes or sneakers, keep ‘em looking their best. This may just mean getting a shoe shine or picking up a new pair altogether.
6. Get a Groovy watch
I have a friend who has a thing for watches. He likes to match them with what he is wearing, and he doesn’t spend a lot of money on them either. Since men don’t have many options when it comes to jewelry, this is a great way to express yourself as well as liven up your look.

Fashion Advice for Men Over 40 - Tipss for boyZZZ
Fashion Advice for Men Over 40 - According to Kim Johnson Gross, co-founder of Chic Simple Ltd, a man should not give up on style just because he is over the age of 40, but there are some guidelines he should follow. In a conversation I had with Kim she outlined some of those guidelines.
Does That Color Make Him Look Sick?
Men over 40 have to realize that their body has changed including their hair and skin color, which also changes their color palate. It is important to make sure the colors they are wearing are still flattering.
He Must Have Borrowed His Son's Clothes
Men should pay attention to what fits correctly, but avoid wearing trendy clothes. Trendy clothes just make him look like he is hanging onto his youth, and more importantly, make him look like he hasn’t found himself.
Tip: Stick with classics--it doesn’t have to mean boring.
What Time is T-Off?
Some men’s lifestyles have changed as well. Perhaps they have stopped working and are now more leisurely. Men in this particular situation often don’t know what to do since they were used to wearing a suit to work every day and jeans and t-shirts on the weekends. They have a hard time transitioning their wardrobe to fit their new lifestyle.
Tip: A sport coat is a great transition item perhaps even in suede. Also where he used to wear dress shoes during the week and sneakers on the weekend, he may now find more casual shoes like driving moccasins appropriate.
Just Because He Has a Nice Body . . .
Even when a man over 40 has a good body he should wear clothes differently than he did in his younger years. For example, even if he has a six-pack and a great butt, he should avoid wearing low cut and tight fitting jeans he might have worn in his 20s and 30s. He can still wear flattering, stylish jeans and t-shirts, but just differently.
Style Challenged?
If he really needs style help, he should go to a really good men’s store and try things on to get an idea of what is flattering. The salesperson should be able to provide some good tips. He doesn’t have to buy anything and the advice is free.
So guys what do u think Is it useful ??? Do comment

Men's Fashion - 8 Men's Fashion Mistakes to Avoid - Tips for BoyZZ
Men's fashion mistakes - We all make fashion errors now and again, but some fashion mistakes made by men are just unforgivable. I have outlined eight fashion mistakes to avoid at all costs.
Socks with Sandals
Who decided this was okay in the first place? Living in the Northwest, I am unfortunately faced with some of the worst offenders of this major fashion don’t. I understand that when it is chilly outside we all dream of the warmth of the summer sun, but wearing socks with sandals doesn’t make the seasons change any faster. If you want to wear sandals this badly, move to a warmer climate. Take this poll and cast your vote on this rather hot topic.
Novelty Ties, Shirts, Boxer Shorts, Etc.
Just say no (I'm channeling Nancy Reagan). There is nothing lasting about novelty clothing nor does it project a stylish, put together image. Leave the smiley faces, hearts, reindeer, shamrocks, animal and various other prints on the racks of the store where you found them.
Blaring Designer Labels
This is a personal pet peeve of mine. I don’t want to be a walking advertisement and neither should you. It’s not a sophisticated look. Just because you are wearing a designer’s name on your chest, sleeve, or wherever, doesn’t make you stylish. Keep it understated and simple.
Backpacks at the Office
I work in a very upscale high rise in Seattle, filled with lawyers and other professional types and it never ceases to surprise how many men wearing nice suits are schlepping backpacks. Unless you are a student or are hiking up a mountain, leave the backpack at home. If you need something for your gym clothes, buy a nice looking gym bag (and there are options that don’t have big logos on them), or if you need something to carry your assorted papers, cell phone, day-planner, etc., get a nice messenger bag.
Chunky Shoes
These were okay back in the 90s, but the big chunky shoes, especially those with square toes, should be retired at this point. Choose something classic that stands the test of time.
Shiny or Glittery Shirts and Suits
If you are looking for something to go out nightclubbing in, I can think of much better choices than those that are glittery, shiny and ultimately tacky. If you are at a loss, try a form fitting black t-shirt or black dress shirt which can be worn with jeans or trousers and dress shoes or casual shoes.
Clothes That Are Too Loose Fitting
In a word, sloppy. Unless you are a hip hop artist, it’s not the right look. Choose clothes that fit your body. This might take some experimentation by mixing and matching certain cuts and styles until you find the right fit for your body that is flattering.
Unflattering Colors
That beautiful blue cashmere sweater you found on sale after Christmas might be really tempting, but if it makes you look ill it’s no bargain. The colors you wear should compliment your natural features such as your eye color, skin tone and body shape. Keep this in mind when putting your look together.
So boys buckle up and check whether ur making any mistake or not !!!

Deepika’s New Look for Dabboo Ratnani Calendar - NewZZ
Deepika Padukone
The famous Bollywood photographer Dabboo Ratnani’s annual 2010 calendar is out. This is the 11th year where he has captured all the top celebrities for his trademark calendar. The calendar this year will have a black-and-white theme.Deepika Padukone’s picture looks like she is not wearing anything, since all the body parts you see are bare. Dabboo Ratnani says, “I wanted to make her look sensual, but aesthetic. Last year, I shot her in a sari, so this is in total contrast. She strikes a thinking, dreamy pose, and I have used lighting to match her mood. Normally Bollywood is associated with bright colors. Black and white images are of the bygone eras but I opted for a stark B&W mood in the snapshots is dark but the styling modem.”
Every year, Dabboo starts his preparations in October. Although, he has many interactions with the celebrities for their shots for magazines, movies and portfolios, every year all of them take time out for the calendar. Ratnani says, “The shoot provides the stars a platform to experiment with their looks and styling.” The 2010 calendar includes celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Kajol, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, John Abraham, Sonam Kapoor and Kangna Ranaut.
The celebrities who are making their first appearance in this calendar are Asin, Farhan Akhtar, Genelia D’Souza and Imran Khan. Dabboo does not want to comment on which star is looking the best. He says, “They are all my friends and go out of their way to cooperate. For me they all look hot.” Dabboo Ratnani is not interested in selling his calendar in the market, it is exclusively made for the Bollywood celebrities.
Tips for Curly Hair - for GirlZZZ
Step 1: Hydrate
Start by using a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, as curly hair tends to get a lot dryer than straight hair. For best shine results on curly hair, try washing every other day so you don’t strip the hair of its natural oils.
Step 2: Prep
Apply a frizz-ease serum or a shine curl-enhancing spray/cream to wet strands. Comb the cream throughout the entire hair using a wide-tooth comb because that will make the cuticle lie a little flatter.
Step 3 Finish and Style: Twist inch-size pieces around your finger, then scrunch the spirals up, shaping individual curls to make them more uniform. Finish off by blow-drying your hair with a diffuser or letting it air-dry to reduce heat damage
3 Simple Steps to Shiny Hair
We all want full, beautiful, youthful looking hair, and that means we just want lots of shine. Why? Because shiny hair simply passes off as healthy hair! Did you know that the smoother the hair cuticle, the more shine it reflects? When a hair cuticle is damaged, light gets absorbed into cracks and crevices, making hair look dull. Therefore, you need to fill in those cracks and use the right techniques to smooth the cuticle. So here are 3 simple steps to help you get the most shine out of your hair!

Step 1: Cleansing
Before you get that shine, you need to cleanse your hair of all the built-up gunk from hair products that’s accumulated over time. For this, use a deep-cleansing shampoo once a week. Start by applying conditioner first from your ears all the way down to your ends to provide a protective barrier on the strands that helps prevent tears and split ends from forming. Continue by applying the deep-cleansing shampoo only to your roots, lather, and try rinsing with cold water to help seal and smooth the cuticle.
Step 2: Prep
Apply an anti-frizz serum or polishing milk to towel-dried hair. Make sure you run it through the hair using a fine tooth comb – this will ensure that those cracks and crevices get filled with moisture instead of being blow away when you start to blowdry. Finish off with a volumizing spray for a little pick-me-up.
Step 3: Finish and Style
Use a blow-dryer with a nozzle attached and point the airflow only downwards to help ensure smooth cuticles as you dry. Finish drying your hair with cold air from your blow-dryer and apply a shine spray or frizz serum to ends for ultimate shine.

How to do a French Braid - Hair Style for girlZZZ
If you didn’t already know, braids are one of the hottest hairstyles this summer and for good reason too! They keep the hair out of your hair on those hot, humid days, they’re easy to maintain, and oh yeah they look super cute! There are tons of different ways to braid your hair and all of them are good, but I find that french braids are super classy and look amazing on anyone. Granted, they’re a little hard to pull off, but all you need is a little bit of patience and voila, you can have a beautiful french braid in no time. So here is your step-by-step guide to doing a french braid.

Step 1:
Start with clean hair and brush out any knots or tangles. Brush your hair back so that there is no part. Apply a frizz serum to your palms and run through hair to make sure there are no flyaways.
Step 2:
Take a part of your hair and separate it from the rest of your hair where you want to start your braid. It is best to make the part V-shaped, with the point of the V towards the back of your head. I find that this is easiest, but you can also start lower on the head or even on the side. If you’re a beginner though, just stick to these steps.
Step 3:
Now that you’ve gathered that section of hair, separate it into three parts just like you would a regular braid.
Step 4:
Now this is where it gets a little trickier, but if you know how to do a normal braid, it shouldn’t be too hard at all. Hold the left strand with your left pinkie while moving the right strand from your right hand to your left. Shift the new right strand (which was the middle strand) from your right hand to your left.
Step 5:
Add some hair from the right side of your head to the right strand. Use your right index finger to pick up a section of hair from the right side of the head and add it to the new rightmost strand.
Step 6:
Cross the left strand over the middle strand. Grab the rightmost strand with your right pinkie then rotate your left hand so that you can grab the leftmost strand in your right hand. Shift the new leftmost strand to your right hand.
Step 7:
Add hair from the left side of the head to the new leftmost strand. Use your left index finger to pick up a section of hair from the left side of the head and add it to the leftmost strand.
Step 8:
Cross the right strand over the middle strand. Grab the left strand with your left pinkie and rotate your right hand so that you can grab the rightmost strand in your left hand. Shift the new rightmost strand to your left hand.
Step 9:
Add some hair from the right side of your head to the rightmost strand. Use your right index finger to pick up a section of hair from the right side of the head. Add it to the rightmost strand which is currently held in your left hand.
Step 10:
Cross the left strand over to the middle strand. Grab the right strand with your right pinkie then rotate your left hand so that you can grab the leftmost part of your hair in your right hand. Shift the new leftmore strand from your left hand to your right hand.
Step 11:
Add some hair from the left side to the leftmost strand. Use your left index finger to pick up a section of hair from the left side of the head and add it to the leftmost strand in your right hand.
Step 12:
Continue braiding and cross the rightmost strand over the middle. Add hair to the new rightmost strand, cross the leftmost strand over the middle, add hair to the new leftmost strand, and repeat until there is no hair left to braid.
Step 13:
Braid the rest of your hair normally until there is no more hair left. Tie or clip the braid and ta-da! Easy as pie! Okay, so maybe it doesn’t sound very easy, but if you take the time and follow the steps along with a little bit of patience, I promise you you’ll be able to french braid your hair in no time!
So what do u think girlZZZ ..... share ur thoughtsss

Aamir Khan “I am not a highly religious person at all. I believe more in spirituality” -NewZZ abt the fasion icon
Aamir Hussain Khan hails from a typically staunch, conservative and orthodox Muslim family originating from the Khan clan of Peshawar. Belonging to the Shia clan he has never hidden the fact that right from childhood he was quite liberal minded and moreover a rebel person at heart.
He has always made it very clear that more than believing in and having total faith in Islamic religion he has always and completely reposed his faith in ‘Allah’ (God), the one and only supreme power of the entire universe.
While his friends insist that he is not anti-religious at all but at the same time he is not a fanatic either. So sure enough eyebrows were raised when he married his childhood sweetheart a Hindu-Bengali lass named Reena Dutta and once again a Hindu belle Kiran Rao.
The first query on everyone’s lips was would he go the Shahrukh Khan way as far as religious worship was concerned. But true to his words, Aamir Khan silenced his critics in this interactive session with Shaheen Raaj. Let’s see how?
What does religion in general and Islamic religion in particular mean to you?
It may mean anything to me, that’s secondary. I hate the division of religion in itself at the behest of mankind themselves. Like you just made a very uncalled for and a very discriminatory remark about religion!
In my eyes religion is religion. I really hate its classification. Anyways coming to the point, I would say that as far as I am concerned no I am not a highly religious person at all. I believe more in spirituality.
Moreover, I have always reposed my total faith in ‘Allah’ the only supreme power guiding and ruling this universe. I pray to him in my mind with every breath of mine. I don’t have to seek out the particular 5 times only to offer him my respects.
In fact I have a direct conversation with him in times of happiness, in times of success and above all in times of sadness and failures too.
So what about the rituals and tenets of Islamic religion as preached by Prophet Mohammad (S.A.W), may peace be upon him, in the Holy book of Quran?
I am not saying that one should overlook this aspect of the Islamic religion. But I do believe in the principle of ‘To each his own’ what I elaborately mean to express is that whether I offer my 5 times ‘Namaz’ (5 times prayers) or not?
Whether I observe my ‘Rozas’ (Fasting) in the Holy month of ‘Ramzan’ or not? Whether I do the regular ‘Tilavat’ (Reading) of the ‘Quransharif’ (The Holy Book) or not? Whether I have performed my ‘Haj’ or ‘Umra’ (Both pilgrimages to Mecca and Medina) or not?
Whether I take care of the ‘Zakaat’ (2.5% of net yearly income to be disbursed to the poor and needy) the ‘Fitra’ (Protection of life of the widows and extremely needy people) and the ‘Khairaat (Giving Alms to Beggars) or not?
All these are questions that I do not have to answer to one and all. No I am not answerable to anyone accept my ‘Khuda’ (God). Yes, I am also aware that when I take ‘Rukhsat’ (Good Bye) from this world I will have to face all the repercussions of all my ‘Gunahs’ (Sins).
So it could be ‘Sawab’ (Blessings) or it could be ‘Ajaab’ (Curse) considering the fact that ‘Allah’ ne mere hisse ki nekiyan bhi nazar andaaz na ki hogi (God has not overlooked the goodness in me).
To sum it up, I would say that meri nekiyaan aur meri badiyaan (My good deeds and my bad deeds) is something that is strictly an affair to be dealt with and considered by my ‘Allah Miyan’ alone.
So how do you observe the Holy month of ‘Ramzan’?
Just as every true ‘Mussalmaan’ (Muslim person) does. But my policy is that ke main dikhawa karne yaa apne ‘Allah’ ki raah mein ki gayee ibaadat ki badayee maarne mein yakeen nahin karta hoon. (I do not believe in showing off my prayers and practices to the world).
Sorry to say but the mentality of some people in general is still very conservative. So at the slightest pretext they bother more about others ‘Imaan’ (Faith) and ‘Aamaal’ (Worship) rather than their own.
So it’s not really surprising when you hear people making nasty comments behind my back, of course. For them Aamir Khan ‘Namaz’ nahin padta (does not offer 5 times prayers) ya Shahrukh Khan ‘Roza’ nahin rakhta (does not observe fasting) is more of a sensation than a food for thought.
Does anybody even bother or stop to give a thought that being a celebrity we do have a lot of limitations and other problems. And by this statement I am not at all justifying my stand on my own principles of religion.
Did you face any religious dilemma while you were married to a Hindu lady Reena Dutta and later on to Kiran Rao?
No, none whatsoever. We never practiced each other’s religion neither did we force each other to do so. But, of course, I had made it very clear that my kids will always follow only Islamic religion.
Kangna Ranaut “I was surprised to find my role almost cut down to nothing” - NewZZ
A National Award in her kitty and a four-year career where she has so far been mostly applauded for her powerhouse performances makes Kangna Ranaut one of the most enviable names. But Kangna is anything but complacent.
She will be seen next in One Upon A Time In Mumbai in yet-another author-backed role. The actress spoke to Gaurav Sharma on her role, playing Madhubala and her personal life and more.Kites didn’t fare well and your role and too was cut down to 10 minutes.
It was a good film but there wasn’t much I could have done here. I am disappointed that it didn’t fetch the desired results. Moreover, I knew that my role was that of a special appearance.
It wasn’t a big role at all but again I was surprised to find my role almost cut down to nothing. Again, it was completely producer Rakesh Roshan and Anurag’s (Basu) decision because they were the ones who made the film.
Didn’t that disappoint you?
See, Anurag is a great friend of mine. He gave me my first film, Gangster, and it was a huge success. I did Kites because Anurag wanted me to do it and he was clear from the very beginning that my role is going to be a short one. Keeping that in mind, I don’t have any reasons to be upset.
In fact you have a National Award for Fashion to your credit now. That must have been a really encouragement.
Yes, I am really excited and happy after winning the National Award but I still think I have a long way to go.
But you have been tremendously successful in a short career.
(Laughs) I don’t see it that way. I feel lucky that I have done some good films, which makes me happy. At the same time I think I haven’t even given 10 per cent to Bollywood yet. I am hungry for good roles.
It is a dream role. It’s something that I haven’t played earlier. Haji Mastan was a big fan of Madhubala but there was no way he could marry her. So he ended up marrying a smalltime actress who looked a lot like Madhubala. My character is modeled on both of them.
How was it playing Madhubala?
It was a tough job and a lot of research went into it. It’s not only my character but because the entire film is set in the 70’s a lot of research went into the looks of the film. It’s a very poignant story, a very serious one. And yes (Laughs) I am once again playing a serious role.
And how was it working with Emraan, your first co-star?
Emmy is a great friend and not only my first co-star. We really gel well but unfortunately, we don’t have any scenes together in this film but we would share a great rapport whenever on the set.
He is one who used to take care of me and as usual played pranks and was mischievous on the set.
That has almost become a norm with you.
Yes but what can I do about it. It’s not that I like playing tragic roles only. I would love to do comedies too. But I don’t have a choice. So far I have been at the receiving end. I have to choose from whatever I have been offered so far.
I don’t have a filmy background where someone will produce a film for me. I am still a small-town girl… my heart still beats for Shimla.
So you miss Shimla? How has life changed?
It’s very difficult earning a living in India. Had I not been doing films I would have been doing something else. My friends are doing the same. We are still in touch but as you grow up things change and you have to accept it.
You parted ways with Adhyayan Suman last year. Since then have you been into another relationship?
(Smiles) Oh no! I am happy with the way I am. I am not into any relationship and am only focusing on my career. I am not ready to get into a relationship anytime soon. Films are my only love.
So where do we see you next?
The good news is that I am doing comedy. (Laughs out). It’s Aneez Bazmee’s No Problem and then there’s a thriller, Knock Out.
All u there do u want to give any suggestion to kangana !!!

TREND SPOTTING AT VHIMW 2010 -Newzz
Five designers, five shows, five collections inspired by five different elements and then five senses of us human beings absorbing it all. Fashion shows are a window to the future; window to see what’s going to be in-vogue and become jure-de-rigueur of the fashion conscious. They are the trends, the ‘Highest Common Factor’ (which I think is the most lucid way to put it) that emerges from the different shows of different designers.
Van Heusen India Men’s Week made few bold trend statements and they are:
Snug fitted suits in classic two-button or single button style with double vents at the back. The snug fit look can be best described as a fit that looks a size small for the wearer. The look was pioneered by the American Designer, Thom Browne but then his snug-fit meant a fit that look a couple of sizes small. The jackets have shorter sleeve-length than the customary 2inches of the shirt cuff peeping out below and are narrower. The jacket length is short too, ending just at the middle of your butt. The pants end just at the ankle and are real slim fitted like the yesteryears’ drainpipe style. These slim trousers are usually flat fronts with front pockets and low waist. Virtually all the designer presented this look. Mind you, the snug-fit look needs a well toned slim body to carry it with style so better hit the gym.
The colour Brown in its various shades seems to be the ‘IT’ colour for the season to come. The ‘Brown’ was visible on Narendra Ahmad, Troy Costa and Ashish Soni’s collections.
Jersey is big for the Spring/Summer 2011 collection and it’s use is not just limited Tees but are being used for kurtas and drop-crotch pants in ANKY by Anjana & Ankita Bhargav, jersey jackets were part of Sanchita’s Varun Bahl+ Karan Johar’s and Manoviraj Khosla’s collection. The only bit about the Jersey material is that what we saw was a very fine count jersey, which at times was used as a blend with other material. (pic DSC_0006 by ANKY)
Prints are going to carry on dominating the menswear fashion. There are printed shirts, printed trousers and printed jackets. Karan Johar+Varun Bahl had sketches on New York life printed on almost everything, Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna had prints of topography on various outfits, Pratap block printed multi-hued stars on his jackets and trousers and Narendra Ahmad printed Japanese motifs on his creations. (Pic DSC_312 by Pratap)
Epaulettes, box-pockets, zipper details and other such trims are adding lot of edge to menswear fashion. We saw shoulder epaulettes on shirts and jackets. We saw lot of utilitarian pockets featuring on jackets (even on the sleeves), shirts and obviously on trousers. Zippers – metallic as well as plastic ones on pockets, shirt and jacket fronts and side seam of trousers gave a sporty feel to them.
Collars and Lapels are seeing some change. Shirt collars are getting slimmer and shorter, which we found amply in Troy Costa’s, Ashish Soni’s, Rohit & Rahul’s and Wendell’s collection. The lapels on suits and jackets went from slim (Costa, Soni, CUE, Sanchita) to draped (Narendra) to shark fins like edges (in Manoviraj Khosla’s collection) to tuck and folded (K Jo+Varun Bahl).
Wow what a gr8 colleciton !!
RAAKESH AGARVWAL NOT IN Lakme Fashion Week in Winter/Festive '10 - Newzz
Raakesh Agarvwal the renowned designer for Bollywood Industry
Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2010 season is just two weeks away. And it was only just a few days back, that the LFW advisory board revealed the names of the participating designers, but it seems they have to re-arrange it! Wondering why? Because designer Raakesh Agarvwal has opted out from the event. The designer will not be seen showcasing his collection or any kind of participation at the upcoming LFW season due to ill health. He was going to do a special catwalk show by TIGI where silhouettes were supposed to be designed by him.
Last year, Raakesh had been reeling under a serious neurological condition from which he had recovered after treatment that went on for months on end. Our guess is that the same condition has relapsed and is the principal reason for his last minute pull out. When we contacted Anil Chopra, CEO, Lakme Lever he confirmed the news - "Yes, he is in quite a serious condition."
Raakesh is always known for creating an interesting mix of Indian and international apparel with old-skool couture elements, encompassing the comfort and ease of prêt construction. The designer was last seen presenting his grand collection at Delhi Couture Week, while sharing the ramp with Rina Dhaka. Since then, the designer has maintained a low profile. But it is known that he suffers from jaundice. According to sources, he has been going through some serious health problems for quite some time now.
When contacted to know more about his health, his business partner tried to remain tight lipped about the entire situation. According to his business partner, they have already informed the sponsors –Tony & Guy - about their non-participation.
We wish a speedy recovery for Raakesh! Get well soon.
We all wish Raakesh a speedy recovery of his health....

Which guy does not like a beautiful pair of rosy luscious lips to kiss and which girl does not want to have them?
Since lips are the most delicate part of your body, they can become darker and lifeless with age, due to chapping in cold weather conditions and by excessive and regular use of Lipsticks and lip colors etc.
That is why special care should be taken to nourish them every day. This article lists a few very effective and easy to follow tips that can make your lips enviably rosy, fuller and kissable.
Take a few (around 4 to 5) petals of rose flower. Grind them and make a smooth paste. Add a few drops of glycerin to it and mix well. Apply the mixture generously on your lips and leave it overnight. Wash off next morning with cold water and see the difference.
Wet a towel and rub it gently over your lips in circular motion. Doing this exercise every other day will not only ensure removal of dead skin from your lips but also increase their blood circulation. This will make your lips look clean and soft.
Do not lick your lips when chapped and also otherwise. It will make them more chapped and can even lead to bleeding. It is important to keep your lips moistened and hydrated. Always keep a lip balm for moisturizing your lips handy
Always apply a little bit of lip cream before using any lipstick or lip color on them. The cream will perform dual functions. It will protect the lips from the harmful chemicals of the lipstick as well as prevent the lipstick from spreading out.
Apply a mixture of honey and lemon juice on your lips and leave it for 15 minutes. Wash off with cold water. Honey moistens and hydrates your lips at the same time
Always moisturize your lips before going off to sleep at night. This will give your lips ample time to nourish. Also, Include lots of fresh fruits in your diet and drink plenty of water. It is important to make your lips naturally healthy if you want them to look plump and rosy.

What is Fasion ??
Fashion, a general term for the style and custom prevalent at a given time, in its most common usage refers to costume or clothing style. The more technical term, costume, has become so linked in the public eye with the term "fashion" that the more general term "costume" has in popular use mostly been relegated to special senses like fancy dress or masquerade wear, while the term "fashion" means clothing generally, and the study of it. This linguistic switch is due to the fashion plates which were produced during the Industrial Revolution, showing the latest designs. For a broad cross-cultural look at clothing and its place in society, refer to the entries for clothing, costume and fabrics. The remainder of this article deals with clothing fashions in the Western world.
